Zuzana Bergrová - How to tame climbing fears
About the lecturer: Zuzana is a former Olympian, passionate climber and psychotherapist in training. In addition to her regular therapeutic clientele, she is in charge of the mental preparation of the Czech climbing team and participates in the education of Czech Climbing Association coaches. She explores her own limits by pulling on the sand.

About the workshop: Climbing is about the head. And in the head? That's where it lives! Lots of emotions like fear, panic, paralysis, nervousness and other things that can hinder you both in your experience and in your performance. We'll look at what exactly it's about. Why is it like that. We'll show you data from research on 170 climbers. We'll tell you what helps. We'll talk about the difference between healthy respect and paralyzing fear, we'll show you specific tips that can be used both on the wall and on the rocks.

Learn how to improve your performance and regeneration with a few tricks, find out what are the most common mistakes in climbers' diets or what to take with you when you go rock climbing.

Jan Šolc - How to read roads through the eyes of a signalman
About the lecturer: The main setter of the Czech Mountaineering Association and an experienced creator of competition routes at the highest level. In the past, he regularly placed in the finals of the Czech Cup bouldering competitions and remains an active climber today. In outdoor bouldering, he has climbed 8A and is still pushing his limits. He brings a unique perspective of a setter and former competitor to Grip Days.
About the workshop: Learn to recognize the climber's intent and understand the logic behind how boulders or routes are built. You will improve your ability to read movement, anticipate key points, and find effective solutions. This will help you climb with more peace and confidence.

Matěj Hodoušek - The shoulder blade as the basis of a strong grip
About the lecturer: Movement specialist, trainer and health exercise instructor with a focus on injury prevention and movement efficiency in climbers. Organizer of Grip Days.
About the workshop: Proper shoulder activation and shoulder alignment significantly affect how you use your arms – relieving strained fingers, relieving chronically sore elbows, and improving your entire body’s connection to the rope. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll show you how to effectively position your shoulder while climbing so it works in harmony with your muscle chains and effectively transfers tension between your upper and lower body. It will include simple exercises to improve shoulder position and engagement in your training.
