What is climbing diagnostics?

Climbing diagnostics is a comprehensive analysis of climbing movement patterns that helps identify weaknesses, asymmetries, and areas that can be improved for more efficient and safe movement on the wall. Diagnostics is suitable for beginners, advanced climbers, and performance athletes.

How is the diagnosis done?

  1. Initial consultation (approx. 15 minutes)

    • Getting to know the client, their experiences and goals.

    • Discussion of previous injuries, limitations, or specific needs.

  2. Testing movement stereotypes

    • Movement diagnostics directly on the climbing wall.

    • Supplemented with on-campus testing and other relevant movement tests, such as mobility, strength, agility tests

  3. Analysis and output

    • During the diagnostics, photo and video material is taken.

    • You will receive the results immediately as part of the diagnostics, or in the following lesson if the diagnostics are more time-consuming.

    • The photo and video remains for diagnostic purposes only and is not shared on public platforms.

    • Climbing diagnostics can also be carried out online

What will you take away?

  • Detailed feedback about your movement.

  • Recommended exercises and procedures for improvement.

  • Possibility of follow-up individual therapy/training.

  • If the client is only interested in diagnostics, an output will be prepared and handed over to them.
